District Three's appeal to keep all our schools (Northwestern, Rock Hill, and South Pointe) in the same athletic region was turned down by a vote of 9-5 from the executive committee of the South Carolina High School League. Region I and some Region II schools were against the appeal. Our District had support from 14 out of the 15 AAAA schools that would be affected by the region change.
