City Finds Billing Error, Sends Refund Check To Rock Hill Schools
The city recently found a billing error going back to 2002 and sent a refund check to the Rock Hill Schools for $241,124. The error involved overcharges related to a special public school rate schedule which was established to get the power contract at the most recently constructed schools; Castle Heights; Old Pointe; and South Pointe. The error was corrected at the end of August of this year.
