What started as fun (a student dressed as a banana running onto the football field), progressed into a first amendment rights issue (administrators disciplining students for wearing yellow T-shirts), ended on Friday with an apology from Stafford School's Superintendent Randy Bridges and a "Banana Man" reinstatement to school on Monday. The apology didn't prevent a lot of negative publicity to the high school and school district. Just shows how fast things happen in the new age of the internet.
