NBC News to Visit District
NBC anchor, Brian Williams, and a crew from NBC news will be in the Rock Hill School District office Monday to do a story with Dr. Sheila Huckabee related to tomorrow's election. NBC is doing a series of profiles on people across the country and their opinions on the elections--in S.C. specifically on the race for Governor and the Spratt/Mulvaney race. Sheila will represent a single mother's perspective. The profiles will be shown on NBC's Nightly News Tuesday night during election coverage.

The folks at Belleview will be at Thursday's Too restaurant today from 5:00-7:00 to celebrate Belleview's being selected as South Carolina's Distinguished Title 1 School for Closing the Achievement Gap. Stop by and offer your congratulations!
Fundraiser for Art Departments
McDonald's on N. Cherry Road (near I-77) has re-opened since a complete renovation, and during this week they will share much of their proceeds with area schools. On Wednesday, Nov. 3, the art depts. at our participating middle schools will receive 10 percent of the day's total proceeds; on Thursday, our participating high schools will benefit from sales.
