Jonthan Meeks intercepted two passes Saturday and returned one for a score
Clemson senior safety Jonathan Meeks earned ACC Defensive Back of the Week. Meeks had two interceptions in Saturday’s 38-17 win over Virginia Tech. He returned his second pick 74 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.
“I got a text about it this morning,” Meeks said when asked about the honor. “ It felt real good, a big accomplishment.”

Meeks is now fifth in Clemson history in interception return yards. He has 192 yards off interception returns in his career.
Next up for Meeks and the Tiger defense is a road game at Wake Forest Thursday night.
