Hat's Off To The South Pointe High School

I get invited to a lot of school performances - all are good - and it is impossible to attend them all. Last night I attended the South Pointe High Schools "A Time for Hope". This was their Winter Concert and involved the Color Guard, Orchestra, Band, Singers, Concert Choir and a final with all groups performing.

It was great for parents to see all the different performing groups and the admission was two cans of food for Project Hope. Talk about setting the mood for Christmas!

The School Improvement Council handed out cards (above) to get parents educated on the ongoing school financial crisis. This award winning group is really staying out front and is an example for all groups in support of public education.
