A comment from the Flypaper Blog (http://www.edexcellence.net/flypaper/index.php/2008/06/the-public-schools-crisis-of-confidencea/) is interesting.  I'll leave you with it: "three times as many Americans express confidence in the public schools than in Congress. Perhaps lawmakers should remember that the next time they try to "fix" our education system".  Wish I had said it.
