Rock Hill School News For December 2, 2010

Holiday Concerts:

Sullivan Middle School Chorus, 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7 in the Auditorium, Admission: A can of food
South Pointe High School Music Department (band, chorus, orchestra), 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, Admission: Two cans of food to be donated to Project Hope
Rock Hill District Three Elementary Honors Choir, 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, Sanctuary of Oakland Baptist Church. Admission: None

In other news:

McAlister's Deli on Herlong will have "Jazz Night" on Dec. 6 from 5:00-9:00. Proceeds will offset travel costs for Northwestern High School's Jazz Combo which will perform in January at the National Jazz Educators Conference in New Orleans.
The Rock Hill High School Advanced Acting Class will present Our Town by Thorton Wilder on Dec. 9 & 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets will be $5 for students and seniors and $7 for adults.
Adult Education will hold commencement for the Class of 2010-2011 at 7:00 Monday, Dec. 6, in the gym at the Flexible Learning Center.
The MetalMorphosis Robotics Team from the district's high schools is looking for sponsors. For a minimum of $10, donors will receive a t-shirt and their names will appear on their website
