Items Being Considered for 2008-09 Budget by District Three Administration

• Continue the initiatives started this year to improve test scores and graduation rates ($900,000)
• Open a new elementary and middle school
• Increase administrative and staff salaries to be competitive with other York County Districts
• Discontinue study hall in the high schools which will require additional high school teachers
• Reduce class size in the middle schools.

These are the items which the administration believes is "most important". Discussions with the board will begin at the January work session.
