Free Medical Care for Children in Need
The medical staff of the York County Family Resource Center would like to remind everyone that free medical care is provided to children ages newborn to 18 years old who are uninsured or underinsured. Services include well baby check-ups, immunizations, sick visits, sports physicals, vision/hearing screenings, education and referrals. Clinics are open from 8:30-3:30 Tuesday through Friday at locations throughout York County, including the Rock Hill Family Resource Center on Fridays.
Holiday Feast for the Homeless
Sherille and Twan Barber, whose children attend Rock Hill Schools, are planning a holiday feast on Sat., Nov. 23, for the homeless. They are reaching out to the Rock Hill community for help, including employees in Rock Hill Schools.
Sept. 23 School Board Meeting
The Rock Hill School Board will hold its monthly business meeting at 6 pm Monday, Sept. 23, in the District Office Board Room. Items on the agenda include recognition of elementary students who made perfect PASS scores, lots of policy updates, a 15-day enrollment report, and improvements to the Safety, Security and Risk Management Program. Board Business meetings and work sessions are open to the public.
