The Rock Hill High School Band of Distinction has
been consistently one of the top-ranking bands in
South Carolina. This past October they placed Third
at the South Carolina Band Director's Association
State Competition, which attracts all of the top bands
throughout the state. In addition, the band has been
invited to play in exhibition at several memorable
locations, including the Arizona Memorial in Hawaii.
This tournament raises funds, which not only helps
pay for new instruments, it also helps pay for
students who can not afford to pay for the basics
required – instrument repairs, marching shoes, and
gloves, among other things.
Golf event includes: 18 holes of golf;
complimentary boxed lunch, goodie bags,
refreshments on course; great prizes; Holein-
one prizes which include a car; and an
awards ceremony.
