There are a lot of candidates this year for the Rock Hill School Board which makes it difficult to figure out who is running against whom. To top it off, some voters will be voting for two school board seats while others will only be voting for one. Herald Reporter Shawn Cetrone has an article in Sunday's Rock Hill Herald with information about the candidates. You can read his article by clicking here.
Radio Station WRHI is having all the candidates on their Straight Talk Radio Show. District Two candidates were on the October 7th show which you can hear by clicking here, District 4 candidates will be on the week of October 18 and the At-large candidates will be on October 26. The show airs at 12:30 PM (1340 am or 94.3 fm) and replays can be heard by going to their web site. Host Manning Kimmel asks each candidate (more like makes a statement) about having a dress code for teachers and students.
The Chamber of Commerce will have a candidate forum at 6:30 pm on October 19 (site to be determined).
